The EBC part number for a 03 600RR is FA296HH. You'll need 2 per side, 4 total.

Choosing the Right Material

Organic materials were originally used on many older vehicles. Brakes made of these are softer than others, tend to wear out faster, and do not offer comparable performance. Look for "organic" in the product description.

Semi-metallic materials are made with a combination of organic materials and metals. They offer superior performance and last longer than organic pads.

Ceramic pads represent the latest in aftermarket brake pad design. They offer excellent performance and superior service life while minimizing brake dust and noise. If you use semi-metallic brake pads, you can often upgrade to ceramic materials.

Riveted or Bonded?

These terms refer to the way the brakes' friction material is attached to the steel backing plate. Bonding the material to the plate is a fairly common method and uses high-strength adhesives with heat to fuse the two together. Riveting is what it sounds like - the material is attached to the backing plate with steel rivets. These are often used on higher-quality pads and shoes because the rivets allow better transfer of heat to the rest of the brake assembly. This keeps the temperature of the pads or shoes lower and improves braking performance and service life.

vesrah RJL's are better but more expensive. they give more progressive bite rather than a lot of initial bite with not much progressivity ( a word?). $100 a set at www.sportbiketrackgear.com (http://www.sportibiketrackgear.com) .... don't think i'll ever use another pad. they're great for street and track, quick warm-up, no fade, fantastic for trail-braking t9 , 5, and 12 at cali speedway. don't bother with the Super RJLS (twice as much $$$ and wear rotors out faster). they take longer to warm up and are only superior in race conditions. from what i hear, they're downright dangerous for the street.

no worries about going over the front bro! i did SS lines, fluid flush/bleed and vesrah's all at the same time. since the feel is so progressive, they're hard to lock up and they give you plenty of warning before you start lifting the rear. it makes such a huge difference it's rediculous. stock lines, pads vs. vesrah's with steel = no comparison. you do have to give them around 50 miles to seat into the rotors though. they will feel a bit weak at first, just give them a little time.
