I watch the Bloomberg Report every morning, and they have been saying for awhile now that the gas prices will remain this way for at least 6 years. There's some serious changes coming our way with regard to transportation.
All airlines are now imposing a $10 charge per ticket for gas. ($20 extra now for a round-trip...geez). We all have to pitch in gas money to fly anywhere. :doh

Taz, see post before yours.
That's only American Airlines so far, because they are HURTIN. You know what though? It's about time, these bags are so ridiculously heavy, people don't realize how many thousands of dollars in extra fuel is required to carry all that stupid shit.

Yeah, this is getting jacked up, it costs me about 18.00 to fill a CBR, about 9 dollars to go to work round trip. Im going to start carpooling with coworkers now. I thought it was great that bush went over to the saudi sheeks house and was pleading with them to produce more oil, and the saudis told his ass the truth. There is no reason to increase supply because there is no increase in demand, the reason gas and oil is taking a shit in this county is because the US dollar is going to shit. So for every dollar thats worth 50 cents in the world, oil doubles. Maybe we should think about that when it comes to bleeding cash in iraq, or keeping the prime rate so low that inflation takes off. Its going to take the next two presidents to fix this. (note! this is only my opinion! im not hard to it! please if you have some better insight feel free to share without fear of escalation)
