I read this a while ago and I was fascinated by her story .. it's a long read but so worthwhile :-) I read the original version though and haven't got around to her updated version yet.
I really enjoyed reading about Elena's fascinating trip on a ZZR100 through chenobyl ...

^ i spent about a day on that site... awesome stuff. there have been posts about it on 'another' forum but it definitely deserves revisiting... :thumb
that woman is super-ballsy... and i hope she doesn't end up with some radiation-induced disfigurement/disease down the line.

Whilst I would have loved to have done what she has and taken some pictures .. I am glad I visited it through the safety of my computer screen ..lol

There was a thread on NFF not long ago about this... or not? lol
It's very intriguing, i'd love to visit.

SCS had a thread about the same subject, too. I found the images, and descriptions to be extremely haunting. I loved reading this narative, despite the morbid undertones.
What a strange world we've created for ourselves.
