I live in the south bay and ride out to Malibu at least once a week. Wondering if anyone else on this forum is doing the same ride.

I have, but I'd rather do ACH - Angeles Crest Highway.

Even though Malibu is closer, it feels farther. I don't like splitting on the 405 and PCH is tore up past Santa Monica.

Yeah, the road is tore up after SM, I think they are re-paving it. I don't take the 405 I roll through Marina Del Rey/Venice to PCH. 405 blows ass.

Why don't you take the freeways? The side streets make it an even longer ride.

From where I live it's easier to take the back way through Marina Del Rey then trough Venice and SM for a minute where PCH starts. It's also a nicer ride that the freeway which takes me out of the way. My brother rides ACH all the time, but it seems like an all day deal for me. I'm probably wrong, I should try it out.

I would like to do Malibu again, I've been up to the Rock Store once but I was in a group of 20+ cruisers and it was a bit numbing.

I hope to be doing quite a few long rides once Kneedraggers gets off their fat ass and sends me the right size chain.

I've never been to Malibu...will have to ride it sometime so I can finally see what the fuss is about.

I have no clue what the Rock Store is nor have I ever ridden Malibu. But Id be down to do it someday with my riding butt lovers.

Dave would ride ACH if he ever converts back to street use =(

My bike is in street form right now. I do have to put it back to track for next weekend.

I have a RACE tire on my bike now. Still need parts for my street wheels/tires.

PCH is repaved.

I ride it every weekend. We don't have Medevac helicopters taking people to the hospital like ACH does every weekend.

I need to ride this weekend, but Mullholland is not my fav. Where/when u guys going? Will there be hot ITB action? Can anyone loan me some RACE tires?

Last time I rode there we went to rock store and Leno showed up in his Tank Car. It was fun!
