Maintenance Schedule... I lost my owner's manual

As the title suggests, I am an idiot and misplaced my owner's manual. I am trying to find out what maintenance needs to be performed at what mileages or intervals.

I know the basics intervals like chain cleaning/lube/adjustment, oil and filter changes. What other are there? I am at 6,000 miles right now and want to know if there is a specific service at 6k or not.

oil/filter change every 3k miles....check valve adj @<hidden> 16k....replace chain, sprocket and cs sprocket whenever u think its time depending on the wear and tear of the components....i usually change mine bet. 10-20k miles. top off blinker fluid every 5k:)

I hear that I should also check and adjsut the tension of the muffler bearings ever 3k also.

Okay, good. The maintenance on this bike is next to nothing.

lube chain every 500 miles, change spark plugs at 15k miles if I remember it correctly.

Muffler bearings are a PAIN to change.

Yes - glad you asked. Most experts agree that when its time to change you should go FULL synthetic.

dont forget, if you run it hard, you can overheat the alternator coolant pump belt tensioner lubricating oil spray injectors, and they need to be replaced or adjusted every 715-717 thousand miles
