Hey guy,

I have had my 03 for about 2 years. A year ago I got up and on my way to class I decided it was a good day to high-side my bike on a buys highway. Now I have replaced all my parts and I am ready to get it back on the road. Problem is that I lost some oil when I busted up some parts. I would like to change the oil before I get it back out on the road, but I bought the bike used and there was no manual. It is imposable to find one for free online. Any one have one I could take a look at or just get a copy of the oil change section?

Thanks,
Brad

Oil changing on 2003 600RR is very simple, very similar process on all bikes. You just remove the drain plug, remove oil filter, drain oil, replace oil filter, screw drain plug back in, and fill up.

Location of drain plug and washer (http://fiche.ronayers.com/Index.cfm/Module/Main/TypeID/26/Type/Motorcycle/MakeID/1/Make/Honda/YearID/44/Year/2003/ModelID/6979/Model/CBR600RR/GroupID/300431/Group/OIL_PAN_OIL_PUMP) (#13 & 16)
OEM Honda oil filter is 15410-MFJ-D01

Torque values / specs
Engine oil drain bolt 22lb-ft
Oil filter 20lb-ft
Engine oil 2.7 qt (without replacing oil filter)
Engine oil 3.1 qt (when you also replace the oil filter)
Oil Weight is 10w40

Buy this.

You'll like it. But, you won't need it for an oil change.

Vtec44 has provided all the necessary info.

No worries, Mango, just no more high-siding on busy highways!
