I almost bought the current model, but got the CBR instead - anyone ride one of these and know how it compares long term to the CBR? First impression of the current model is its light, narrow, tall, and more aggressive riding position. It was pretty cool but seemed less comfortable.

A friend of mine just bought the 08, and says the seat is not very comfortable. All in all its a pretty nice bike also.

These are race-bikes meant for going around corners very very fast. I don't think comfort was at the top of the list when the engineers got together. He should have gotten a goldwing.
