I need to change out my fronts - tried Galfer on my last bike and they squeaked like hell after the break-in so I was thinking of going with EBC. Anyone have advise on this?

I have Galfer they seem fine on my bike....then again I don't know how good braking feels like anymore since I am riding with warped rotors LOL!

I prefer the EBC HH compound to the Galfer

Hey VTEC - is that price for a pair? I need two pairs, or is that for a full front set? Im guessing thats a pair only.

Also, anybody have a discount code for 411parts?

Thx

I believe that's the price for 1 pair, but you can give them a call in the morning to verify. They're a friendly local shop.

Just ordered the EBC HH pads, and some goodridge lines for the front. Going to leave the rear stock, as it doesn't get much hard use.

Nice! did you get it from Parts411? I used to work near by there.

yeah - they gave me a discount on the lines, but not so much on the pads. But less than $150 total. Easy to deal with, also.

Who did you sleep with to get the discount? I heard the receptionist there is cute, but I always get the big fat Asian guy whenever I pick up my stuff.

Well the consummation part of the deal hasn't happened yet, but I hope I get either the hot chick or the fat Asian guy!

Moto Mummy has the EBC and the Carbone Lorraine SBK5 Front Brake Pads for the same price.

$31 each.

Which one should I get?

ridersinc had the ebc HH for blowout price yesterday. fwiw, i liked them this weekend - great stopping power over stock, and no fade even in the BW heat.

I have no idea......I posted on here to try and figure it out but no real answer. The only logical answer is probably cooked the rotors and they warped a bit.

Why you ask?
