Teknic suits sizing

I bought my Teknic Lightning suit 4 years back on NewEnough.com and still wear it whenever I do a track day. :loser Yes, I know it's time for me to get a new suit, but that's not the point. I've also tried out their Chicane model locally and it fits me pretty well. I'm a size 40 US, have tried on JoeRocket and Taichi RS suits in addition to Teknic. IMO, Teknic sizing is more for the skinny riders, with long legs and short upper torso. I'm 5'5", 140ish pounds give or take, and Teknic suits fit me perfectly compare to the others.

i've been looking into getting a new suit since the one i have is a tad too big, and the lining is beginning to come apart.

it's nice to see more ladies suits available, but none of them seem to be perforated... that's annoying.

anyway there's a teknic suit that i like the looks of, but don't want to just order it sight-unseen because of sizing and fitment... and not many local retailers carry a good selection of ladies suits.

That's the thing I hate about buying gear online. Plus, I fit size 40 Teknic but not 40 JoeRocket. I thought they're suppose to be the same but apparently not.

That suit on newenough is very enticing - i may pull the trigger on that if I can get some stuff sold.

Yeah, $355 for a brand new suit is pretty awesome. Of course, the quality of Teknic is not comparable to Dainese but it gets the job done, at least in my case.

Old post, I know. I'm 5'8 and 145ish and the size 40 Teknic fits me like a glove. I'd put you at a 42 then.
