+1...besdies the obvious rules like leathers and having an M1...do you really need to be that strict on "rules"
Asian Dave

Too many people crashed in the last couple of runs, so I guess Zmoe just want to make sure that we're prepared for the worse.

Id go but no leather pants. Ive got a textile jacket, boots, helmet, leather gloves. Id get some of them leather pants like you have bush but would leather pants and a textile jacket be considered a 2 pc suit? lol.

Yes, specifying leathers and having a M1 is necessary. I've been on hundreds of group rides and you'd be surprised how many times some dumbshit thinks they can cruise the canyons without a license and get away with it. Then when they don't, the rest of the people on the ride get to hear about how much of an asshole the cop was and it just brings us down in general. I'm riding to enjoy it, so if people want to enjoy it with me, they can be responsible and man up to the guidelines I put in place. If they don't want to enjoy it with me, they can bitch about my rules on the internet.
As for the leathers, it isn't hard to NOT crash. One just needs to keep focused. But in the event one does crash, I don't want to be scraping their kneecap up off the ground. That would ruin my day.

Normally, I would agree. But it would be cool to explore new areas at a safe pace.

I don't mind the 200 miles...might be a bit rough at the end but just wrong time for me. I think it would be fun with a certain kick ass small crew!! Just gotta be in SD for a B-Day thing.

Haven't done any of the other routes and they're missing my favorite parts of ACH and Upper Big T...
bredebee
04-14-2008, 11:15 PM
I dislike little T
Asian Dave
04-14-2008, 11:19 PM
I've never done Lower T.
Upper T is my favorite section of that whole place.
bredebee
04-14-2008, 11:23 PM
Lower T is very tight , blind and bumpy with a few decreasing radius turns ....I hate riding corners I can't see through
A tad bit of misleading info going on up there... Lower Big T is the road that connects to AFH and starts out off of Sunland, it's not very tight. Little T is the one that starts off as Osborne and then becomes Sand Canyon. THAT one is very tight.
We'll be riding both on Saturday. :D
bredebee

Yeah I need to do it more to get more comfortable on tighter roads even though I hate em lol

No crazy rules about it, just the unspoken one everyone with half a brain knows.
