2007 Front Wheel on a 2006??

Does anyone know if its a strait go? or are the rotors bigger and the spacing undo-able? I dont know about the Dia. anyone??

by diameter, you mean of the rotors?

Yeah, you know I cant go bigger than what my Caliper is ment for, well I guess I can make spacers or something but im not going crazy here. Only other concideration would be the center axle dia. Im just throwing out the question.

You may need the whole new front end, wheel, axle, calipers, etc. Why the conversion though ? I'm curious. I know people do it for 03/04 to 05/06 because of the radial brakes and inverted forks.

Same part number on the Axle for both years so the center is all the same Dia.

oh, that reminds me. Ronayers.com has pretty good online finch for 600RR. You can just open up 2 windows and do a quick comparison.

Well im not really trying for some conversion im just trying to get a new front rim off ebay or somthing and want to know my options, Hopefully i find one with the rotors on it.

Yeah, those suckers are expensive. Well if it doesn't fit, Ebay it back! :thumb And don't forget to post the progress, I'm sure someone will find it helpful later.

rotors are the exact same, I have 05 rotors on my 07 track wheels. Don't know about the rest of the wheel.

Yeah, I know i abandoned this thread, but after more research I dont see a single reason why it wont work. same rotors, same center axle part number. that just about does it... So FTW... YES IT WILL WORK!
