This may be a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway... When I'm pushing my bike around in my garage the brakes make a rubbing sound, and feel like they aren't letting go completely of the discs (it's somewhat difficult to get it moving). Is this normal or should something be done? I did just have the tires replaced, so is it possible that the pads just need to re-set a bit relative to the discs? I may be overreacting, but I thought I would just see what you guys think. Thanks for any help.
Its normal on street bikes to have the drag
Usually the pads have springs mounted when they are seated in the calipers
The reason they have them is to keep the pads touching the rotors so they keep heat in them
If you think its out of normal
push the pistons all the way in on both calipers
and pull the lever in about .5 in , release lever
and keep doing this till the pads come in contact with the rotor
Now you should have them aligned properly again .

Alright. Thanks a bunch. I wasn't exactly sure what to make of it. I thought I remembered a few of my friend's bikes doing this when I rode them a long time ago, but it was so long ago that I thought I'd better ask. Thanks.
