For the 2003 and 2004 Honda CBR 600RR, the part number for OEM Honda oil filter is 15410-MFJ-D01

Apparently, the filter is the same for all 600RR from 2003-2008 (at least according to the fiche). The part number is 15410-MFJ-D01. The old part number, I think it's for the F4i is 15410-MCJ-003.

K&N filter (pre-drilled for safety wire and with a 17mm bolt for easy installation/removal and torquing, not to mention a stop valve to eliminate starving the system of oil during cold-startup- and NO i don't work for k&n!) part # is KN-204 , can be ordered and arrive within a day at kragen, auto zone etc...

+1 on the K&N filter. A little more pricey, but worth it for ease of removal. Part number is the same for all CBR's from 2003-2008 KN-204
