Yeah 600's can't wheelie...they are weak. And you're kinda big anyway, so you should get a bigger bike.

We tried last weekend. It revs, you dump the clutch, it sits on it's suspension, and then engine coughs/lugs and (if it stays running) it jumps forward, compresses the front suspension, and then gets all bouncy.
I'll give you $20 out of my trackbike fund to wheelie my bike as it is and NOT hurt it.

I wish I could help you on this but you don't want my help. Open the link and go to the bottom of the pictures. You will see a link that says "Lisa's BIG Starting line mis-hap! (http://www.turn2sportbikes.com/040206_CMRRA01.wmv)" Click on it and you will see my starting line wheelie. Crazy thing was I still got third over all for the day. I was a mad woman on wheels after that loop.

Simple:
Drop 2 Viagra's into your gas tank. Wait 30mins. Then bingo.. you're bike is wheelieing. If you experience a wheelie lasting longer then 4 hours ... Call a f**king Camera Man!!!
Goodluck.

Grow a pair and use your right hand.
What's the trick to clutching it up? They say don't dump the clutch but it seems like that's the only way it'll grab quick enough to pop it up.

I think if you're relying on the clutch you almost have to somewhat pop it to get it up don't you. Who "they" saying don't? I know I have/do.

That's just what I've read in threads in the past. I've never used the clutch to pop it up before, I usually just power wheelie off of bumps in the road.
I've experimented with pulling the clutch in but it doesn't seem feasible unless I rev like a motherfucker then dump it, but it doesn't seem like the clutch plates have enough grab to do it. Maybe I should just dump it?
Wheelies are fun, no doubt about it. Wish I had the control to pull 'em whenever I wanted though.

Now that I think about it, I think what I do is more of a slip of the clutch. You don't want to pull it all the way in but rather just to the point to where is starts to disengage to bring the RPM's up, *I think*. I just kind of do it, and I'm not the best teacher lol.
PS cover the rear brake. :)

I know this, you can wheelie anything with 2 wheels, it just takes a different technique.
If I could run the '87 Spree down the street on 1 wheel I would, believe me
