Me and my roommate use to watch Rome and we liked it but as you said seems like the more "detailed" shows get the ax. Oh well...oh yeah I enjoyed watching Sleep Cell also! yeah yeah yeah... I hated riding my first track day on my 500 lb beast of a bike with jello for suspension. And I'm so in love with her and scared sh!tless to break her that I didn't push it at all.

However, after my track experience, it did notice a huge improvement in my street riding skills. And my street skills have kind of leveled off. I'm still the freaking slowest and I'm not pushing myself at all. And I don't want to push myself on ACH 'cause I don't need a ticket, or a head-on collision, or to fall off a ledge.

So, in order to improve I feel like I need to go back to the track with a bike I didn't pay much for and is easy to find replacement parts for. Then there's less fear of crashing. I'd like to see if I really am capable of getting myself to go faster and improve. I don't want to hide behind any stupid excuses about my bike. I want to stop being lame and scared. I feel like I understand the concepts, I'm just not able to apply them and I'm frustraited that I get scared.

The out come of that crash was actually quite well. There was a 3' to 4' berm of rocks that he flew over. He did land on some smaller rocks but his gear helped him out a lot. He probably would have been in a lot of pain w/o his back protector. He would have been in a world of hurt w/o his gear.

On a side note, I scuffed up my leathers already. :doh Not that you should be draggin in the canyons, but my sliders were down a little lower than I like and I got my knee down. Dragged a little bit of leathers too.

Yeah, but it could have happened to anyone on that particular turn. After he crashed, we saw the 25/30 MPH Turn sign was taken out. Someone crashed and took it out. All the other turns in the area were 50 MPH.

I just happen to be in the back of the pack during this part of the ride. Had I been up there in the front, it could have been me.

That's a good reason. But if that's your goal, I'd say a supermoto might fit better. $30 trackdays for one thing, plus those wide bars really help teach you the effects of countersteering. And you can slide around like an idiot and if you crash, you're only going 30 so who cares? My skills improved faster from riding sumo than from riding the crumpet rocket on the track.

And you can ride a sumo in the dirt, so you'd still have your dirt bike.

It's a long story...

Christian was running at the beach a few weeks ago and had to go to the bathroom. Since Ian lives by the beach, he went to his place. Ian was at work, but left his place unlocked. Christian pooped, changed his desktop to a huge flaccid penis and put blankets and pillows in his bed to make it look like someone was in there. Ian lives alone. He came home and was freaked out.

Ian placed an ad for Christian and me. I got involved cause I'm guilty by association. So I placed a few ads for Ian. Ian called a truce and we agreed to remove the ads.

Ian didn't and he used the recycler. Ads went into print and I've been having people call me for weeks. So I stopped answering my phone for unknown numbers. I had to change my message cause people were leaving me messages. Some people still leave me messages.

I did save a ghey one though. Made me sick to hear it. I played it for Christian and Ian this past weekend. Freaking gross.

It's a long story...

Christian was running at the beach a few weeks ago and had to go to the bathroom. Since Ian lives by the beach, he went to his place. Ian was at work, but left his place unlocked. Christian pooped, changed his desktop to a huge flaccid penis and put blankets and pillows in his bed to make it look like someone was in there. Ian lives alone. He came home and was freaked out.

Ian placed an ad for Christian and me. I got involved cause I'm guilty by association. So I placed a few ads for Ian. Ian called a truce and we agreed to remove the ads.

Ian didn't and he used the recycler. Ads went into print and I've been having people call me for weeks. So I stopped answering my phone for unknown numbers. I had to change my message cause people were leaving me messages. Some people still leave me messages.

I did save a ghey one though. Made me sick to hear it. I played it for Christian and Ian this past weekend. Freaking gross.
