the stock F4i front MC sucks. it's got too much slop, doesn't really generate much force at the caliper, and doesn't give you a place to put your kewl HRC wristband.
So, get a OEM front MC from a 1000rr and enjoy better feel, more braking force, and a place for that HRC wrist band! it's basically a Plug n play application. bolt it on the bar, hook up the brake lines. you may have to dremel the bracket that holds the reservoir to make it work with the F4i, btu that's real easy to do.
You can also use the MC from a 954 (as well as the calipers and rotors IIRC) but the 1000rr MC is better.
You should be able to find one for around $60.
You can also get a brembo 19x18 MC, but those cost money.
