Jen,

I have a leaking valve stem that needs to be replaced and i don't want to remove the tire. Can you please tell me how i can do this?

Hi Dave,

To the best of my knowledge, you need to remove the tire from your rim in order to remove the valve stem. I'm pretty sure it needs to be pulled out/re-installed from the back. Then you'll also want to make sure you re-balance the wheel when you're done. If you find another way to do it, please let me know.

Since you're in Long Beach, if you want help the guys at MC Tire in Lomita are pretty good. I don't believe they are open on Mondays.

No.

I've replaced the core before, you only have to remove the wheel from the bike to do that.
